My names Max, I'm new.

I am considering buying a 1998 S10 as my first car. Any pointers?

Welcome Max, your new ride is really nice. I sure enjoyed mine. It's small, so it will be nimble to handle and the 3.1 makes power +. What is the mileage? Get a small bottle of Febreeze to carry as those smokers smells linger. Nice having you here and don't forget to ask questions.

Thanks Gwampa.
It has 127,000 miles on it right now. I was hoping the smoke smell would leave with detailing, but I guess not. I will carry around Febreeze with me. Thanks for the tip.
And yeah that 3.1 is perfect. Can really go when you put your foot down.

The only way I know of to battle cigarette smoke is Lysol. Spray it on every carpeted surface.

Well, I got it detailed inside and out, looks great.
I got a chrome exhaust tip for the back and put some stickers on to make it my own.
Also got some seat covers. I will have pics tomorrow, because my camera is acting up right now.
