I am getting on the avg 32-33 mpg on my 2017 Chevy Malibu Hybrid. it should be like in the mid 40s. I used the super unledaded and i told if put in regular unleaded that will help increase my mpg. is that true and would it increase it 9-10 mpg more? What else can i do besides spark plugs.which i cant get they are not in stock.

Welcome from Florida. I don't know if changing the spark plugs will increase your gas mileage by 9-10 mpg. But you can get them from many vendors that do have them in stock. Many of the online vendors have them and you can try some of your local auto parts store.

Read your manual. If it does not specifically call for higher octane you are wasting your money buying premium gas. I doubt changing grades will pick up the mpg's you are looking for. How long have you owned this car and has mileage gone down overtime?

i only have had the car since december. i got it from Moxie or used to be Moxie. that was my first mistake. then they said they would take care of my thermostat/housing cause they said it was leaking. he said they couldnt get the part so 3 weeks later i call and he said i can get it at the dealership i said well you guys are paying for then all of a sudden he said the new owner isnt honring anything the other owner said. so i have to pay to get that fixed now also.
