Default My 4.3 loss of power problem

Please somebody help me I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 classic 4.3 V8 in the problem I'm having is I crank up just fine I had to hit the gas in park the engine Rev I put it in Drive mash the gas and my truck goes about 2 or 3 miles an hour and I'll have to the metal overtime it gets moorespeed and more power is it picks up speed it don't cut off it don't slip it's almost like the emergency brake is on but it's not it won't get any kind of good rev to it unless it's in neutral or Park

Welcome to the forum. You will need to post your question in the Silverado section of the forum to get answers. See the note in red above. First thing I would do is check the fuel pressure. Should be in the 40 to 50 psi range.
