Default Need help with 1990 Chevy 1500 5.7l

I have a 1990 Chevy 1500 350 5.7l had 155,768 miles. The issue is when I bought the truck it was hooked up to a toggle switch for it to crank. I've had the truck for about a year now. Recently I've encountered a problem with starting my truck. First it would crank up right away like always but then I noticed that after driving it awhile and cut it off, when I would go to crank it back up it wouldn't do anything until I got a jump then it would crank right up.now it's to the point where I have to jump it off every time to get it to crank. I've replaced battery. Still does the same thing. Can anyone give me some advice as to what it could be. Maybe starter or solenoid. I'm not sure...... thanks
