new to chevy forum
hey guys or gals (if you're out there),
New to chevy. I have a '95 4runner also and in the process of modding that 4X4 and spend time on the Toyota sites. My wife drives the '04 burban with 5.3 Vortex Z71 4X4 all black w/tan interior.
I want to know what kind of performance mods can be done relative easy.
cold air intake?
electric fan to replace pulley driven fan? will this make room for cold air intake as the TB shoots right into the fan.
headers?
computer chip?
I'll stay away from internal components of the engine until it needs a rebuild.
Might buy up a siezed motor and do a full rebuild while it doesn't need one and spread the cost over time and then replace when needed or complete. What are some bad@$$ upgrades.
I'll have to talk to my cousin who used to work for Hendrick, but he now is vp of engine development at evernham.
