Hi, my names Jay. I am an auto enthusiast and work on many different vehicles, mostly 1980's or later. I am not a mechanic, and don't do it for money, but to save money as to me it's not rocket science. When I have a problem, I refer to manuals, read forums, you tube, and speak with other mechanics about solutions. I'm not afraid to take on rebuilding anything, even if I have never done it before. I previously was an aerospace Machinist making parts for the space shuttle, Navy, Nothrop, Sperry, etc, following very tight tolerances, although, I have never done Automotive Machining. I appreciate being here ,looking forward to continually learning more from those who really know their stuff .
