NEW MEMBER SAYS HELLO!!ile truck has the 6000
Hello!! Been a member for a couple of weeks now and am favorably impressed with the forum. Am the owner of a 1999(bought new) Silverado 2500. My truck is basic plain jane without a lot of dazzle. My 98,000 mile truck has the 6000 motor, 5 speed cast iron case tranny, 3:73 gears. The motor has a K & N filter, Gibson headers, Flowmaster exaust and has been re programmed with a Hyper-Tec programmer. It runs very well and is used mostly for towing my 23ft. camper, hauling firewood, hauling snowmobiles and ATV's, as well as plowing snow in the winter(we get a bit up here in northern Wisconsin). Needless to say, HELLO!! again
