Hello,

just picked up a 2003 tracker. 4 door, 5 speed, 2.0 4wd. Having some fun with it already. I changed out the gear oil in the transmission/transfer case, replaced the clutch cylinders/line, and a new window regulator is going in this weekend.

is it just me, or is it kind of hard to find parts for these trucks?

The fill plug on the transfer case was completely stripped out from a previously botched job and long story short I ended up replacing it with a ‘part’ from Home Depot. There was much cursing, a hammer, and an impact gun involved. Amazing how the fill plugs get stuck on there so tight! Aside from that, it’s been a good little truck so far with relatively low miles (100k) for the year.
