I am new to this site and this is my first post.My name is Tom and I drive a 94 Chevy full size Blazer which needs some attention. Although that is another story, I am in the planning stages of a project I'd like to build. Since I am no expert by any means, I thought I would ask any of the experts out there for a little guidance. I am planning to mate a body of one vehicle to the chassis of another one. The Chassis wheel base is 3" shorter than the body and the front track of the chassis is 2.5" wider than the body. The rear track of the chassis is about 1/2 " wider than the body. My question is, would it be better to narrow the body ( which sounds like a lot of work ) change the location of the suspension i.e. the rear end, or widen the fender well openings and flair them ? I'm thinking the track difference could be solved by off setting the wheels. Any ideas or thoughts are welcome. Sorry about posting a technical post here, but wasn't sure where to do it.
