I'm Rick, 62 year old ADD kid. I've been driving and building S10's for 20 years. Just bought a 2003 ZR2 yesterday and I'm already obsessed! I love trucks, cars, anything with a motor. My first car was a 1973 Pinto which was actually a fun little car! First truck was a 1974 Toyota pickup I bought in 1980 and rebuilt. My first S10 was an '82 longbed "Durango" 5 spd 4x4 I bought for 400.00! It had a 12" square rusted out hole in the drivers side floor. Could have literally done a Fred Flintstone. I love the simplicity of the design and ease of access to important stuff. I'm thrilled with my ZR2! Can't wait to get it offroad. tons of great places to wheel in Utah within 15 minutes from my house. I've never built a serious rock crawler, mudder or monster truck-prefer them to be my daily driver and do fun wheeling. I'm a problem solver, self motivated and love to repair/restore, and even some moderate "mods. I've done the "2-point-Hate" to 3.4 swap 3 times and loved it. First ZR2!

Nice looking S-10. Too bad Chevy quit making them.
Thanks. Yeah, I've given up on trying to understand the logic of many of GM's choices. I don't know much about the Colorado, or how it compares to the S10, but I'm planning on keeping this one til I die. Maybe do a Viking Burial thing, setting it ablaze to accompany me on my journey to Valhalla.
