This dealer is a unique and rare item for the collector or car enthusiast as it shows very well and is an excellent resource for a restoration or survivor car validation. This is an ACTUAL DEALER ALBUM that was used at Lee Chevrolet Oldsmobile in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Because this book was used in a dealership it has some notes and annotations from the dealership sales staff referring to features and recommended options and corrections as the 1971 year went along.


The binder contains over 252 pages. It also has multiple tab sections for the car types (see table of contents below) with vinyl tab separators that are the same color as the cover. The binder also contain a separate double wire bound smaller book that has 8 separate pages with interior trim fabric swatches glued to the sheets, 9 individual fabric top swatches and 28 paint chips for Chevrolet models.

This dealer album also has the special "Vega" section added at the end of the album with 10 paint chips and 8 interior swatches.The binder is a brown textured vinyl with the Chevrolet bow tie logo and type printed in gold on the front cover and "1971 Chevrolet Sales Album" printed in gold on the spine of the binder, the back cover does not have any printing on it. The binder front, spine and back cover is in VERY GOOD condition with no rips or tears and shows little wear with some scuffing of the gold printing on the logo and spine, but still looks very nice.

Main tab sections are separated by brown textured vinyl (same as the cover). The binder is held together with a 5 ring closure that still functions correctly. Each tabbed section (see table of content below) focuses on different models and contain exterior and interior marketing pictures, illustrations of options and accessories, trim levels and details on the options and power train configurations, an excellent resource for any restorer or enthusiast. Wheel types, badges and trim and body style illustrations are also highlighted in sections throughout the album.
