STOCK NAVIGATION Unit for 07+ Bose
First off, this is my first post on this site, I'm a member of the Avalanche fan club forums... Looking to sell and seeing if any of you guys might be interested as nobody there is sure whether this thing will be compatible or not with what they go in... and i'm not really sure either.
It is the stock navigation unit out of my brother's 08 tahoe LTZ
Like new, ordered with the option, but he chose to go with an all-out aftermarket setup...god i wish these would work in the old ones...
Looking to get $600 to help offset the cost.
Comes with stock navigation Disc. he's not sure what version, because he left it in the unit not thinking and I have no way of getting it out with him in California.
I have a part number of 15882766

I'll help you out with some of the info.
That part number is actually an '07 nav, not an '08.
It will work in both bose and non bose vehicles and will require programming to properly function. Will fit most all 07-11 NBS GM trucks and SUV's including Lambda Platform vehicle (albiet with different color lights) excluding the Escalade H2 and Denali.
Unit will have red background lights and no USB hookup. Will not be compatible with bluetooth.
It will need to be unlocked by a dealer, so provide your customer with the VIN from your truck so he can get it unlocked.
Great price BTW.

A few updates with the unit...
I had it sent out to get "unlocked". Basically, have the vin that was stored reset by a dealership so that it can learn your vin. Therefore, you do not have to spend the money on having this done.
I also have an OEM brand new GM antenna to go with it if you so need one.
This is sold as a plug and play now, no programming required.
Price has changed as well, Without antenna : $700
With antenna: $750
You don't have to pay the dealership $150-300, and see "IF" they can do it, with no promises or guarantees that your vehicle will be ruined in the process. so this is a hell of a deal
