Default 1977 Chevrolet K20: Slow Rebuild of a Rust Bucket

Picked up a 1977 K20 for $500 from a few towns over a little before last winter. It ran, no brakes tho, so flatbed brought her home. Came with a 7.5' Fisher so after a carb clean/rebuild and a new exhaust piece it was running pretty decent. Sat for a few years so it took a little to clean it out. So its parked at the bottom of the driveway and snow comes, long story short, 4x4 ain't working. It has the NP203 transfer case, but 2 feet of snow is not the ideal weather to work on it in. So, sat for awhile over the summer again, but not slowly starting to get her going. Hopefully before this year's snow.
Progress thus far:
-Running better, engine cleaned of all rat nests and what not
-Plow lights work, no others do.
-After a can of PB Blaster and a lot of hammering, got the shifter to move back to some position, not sure which, but it engages 4x4. (Has locking hubs up front).
Next step is brakes, hopefully tomorrow. Picked up the calipers today, hopefully they will help/solve the problem.
In case the pictures don't show, there is rust everywhere on this including a few holes in frame. Driver's cab corner is way beyond gone, I'll post more pictures later.
