Default P30 stepvan on LPG

Hi.

I have a 2000 small version of a p30 stepvan with a v6 262 engine lpg fuel only. Using Impco model L gas vaporizer.

My inquiry is about the 6 poppet nozzles that go from the fuel meter to the lower intake manifold bores.

Since the vehicle does not use gasoline whatsoever can I omit the 6 poppet nozzles and have the manifold bores empty? The fuel meter stays of course.

The lpg is mixed with air on top of the throttle body so there is no injecting going on through the fuel meter.

What do the experts think?

Thank you for the input.

without the poppet valves, wouldn't fuel be going into the cylinders all the time? Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
