Default Tire fitment

I have a 08 yukon xl. I have 22 in rims with 45 series tires. The front tires rub when i'm parking. I'm thinking of replacing the front with 40's. Does anyone know if this would have any effect on the awd system? Thanks.

If you're referring to just replacing the front tires, then, YES it certainly would.
On any/all vehicles equipped 4WD. AWD, ALB, Symmetrical or any other system which senses rotation, ALL tires must be the same diameter.

I would suggest you consider a Rim change to set the tires outward for proper clearance.
