I had a z28 all decked out about 8 years ago, Got rid of it before I killed myself. We have mellow family cars now I loved that Camaro.

Kids at shows ask me how fast it runs... I said it depends on what the white sign says.
This car has too much sentimental value to me to risk hurting it.

 

I didnt mean I drove it crazy, it was just too small to haul kids around, trucks are safer as far as protecting my kids from an accident. I call it my vault on wheels. I dont like low/small cars for a daily driver. I baby'd my camaro too, sure every once in a while a friend would be with me and want to see whats shes got, Id go to a safe place and open her up to about 80, we'd both get our grins and go about the day.

 

That's what I said too till a 79 z28 (with an awesome 350) decided to run me. Don't race someone down a road you don't know. When I hit 135 and saw him fallin behind pretty quick it was because a "where did that come from" turn was up ahead. Not fun, especially when your friend in that camaro has to take you home.

 

I would love to have a Camaro!

 

If I could afford it, I always wanted a 67 convertible, metallic blue, white vinyl interior, 327 4-speed.
I saw 1 when I was a kid and the picture is still in my mind 40 years latter.
