I have a 1986 S10 w/ a 2.8L fuel injection. The problem I have is that it wants to vibrate constantly. I dont know what the hell the problem is. I have replaced the flexplate, fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator, plugs & wires, and thedistributor cap. The timing is set correctly too. Like I said I dont know what the problem is. Thats the only thing wrong with this truck. Its probably one of the nicest out there. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

 

I had a similar problem with my 87 2.8L. I finally found that the solenoid that controls the EGR valve was malfunctioning. I blocked off the vacuum lines going in and out of the solenoid and the vibration stopped.
