So my 4.3 vortec 4x2 1998 blazer with 148,371 miles had an antifreeze leak and I was able to pin point it to the lower intake gaskets. Then I discover that the distributor needed replacing as well (I probably broke it somehow when I set it down) too easy done. So I put everything back together and it ran just fine. Problem came after I drove home. Wife sees oil from the road to the driveway located towards the rear of the engine on the passenger side. I have limited wrench time and funds. What are your recommendations?

Clean up wherever there is oil located under the hood. Then have someone start the car wih you watching the engine.. have them drive it slowly and watch to see if any oil is dripping and where that drip starts at.

 

I tried that and what I saw looks like the lower intake gasket could have simply moved. So today I'm tearing it down and checking that.
