Default 2.2 exhaust

Hi. I am thinking about trying out a flowmaster 50 series exhaust on my 2.2 litre S-10. I waswondering if anyone has tried this. All i can afford is the muffler, and possibly a muffler-back, but i want it to have a good tone that doesnt sound like it has a problem. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You'll want to go muffler-back with it. I'd honestly go with the super 40 instead of the 50. It offers better flow and better sound than the 50.

I agree with Euro,

the other thing to consider is the magna flow solution, but still should inlcude the cat back or muff back and open that pipe a little (go from 2:1/2 to 2:3/4" minimum)might still sound like a 6 cyl pre airplane stage - I would NOT expect that much note or volume change, until you upgrade the header and open up all the way back
