2000 S-10 Side Marker Light Problem (bulb not burned out)
I have a year 2000 Chevy S-10 pickup that has been a good truck overall but am having a minor but frustrating issue right now. I was driving at night the other day when my right turn signal indicator came on and stayed on. When I got home, I tested all the lights and turn signals. The front side marker light wasn't lighting but the turn signal was fine. I pulled that socket out and there is only one bulb, which IS NOT burned out. I figured it had to be the flasher relay so I replaced that but nothing changed. The flasher indicator only stays on when the headlights are on.
So, what could be wrong here? I am not an auto electronics expert but something is obviously wrong and would rather not take it in for something this simple. I HOPE it is simple!
Thanks,
Conor
