i recently bought an 88 s10 truck with a 2.5L engine and a 5spd trans. the truck is on its 4th engine and 3rd trans. the guy i bought it from put a trans in it from a newer truck. my speedometer does not work because it has a manual speed cable that runs to the trans. the newer trans has an electronic speed sensor. My question is, can i convert the newer trans to run the speedometer with a cable?????
