4.3 liter , my temp guage, which is not digital, does not work. So I put in an after market one, which uses the old tempature sensors spot in the block. The new one does not us any elctrical conections except for it to light up. It worked fine. The problem is, I'm pretty sure that the computer needs a signal from the temp sensor to adjust certain paramaters. But there I dont know where to put the old one. I would like to know if there is a temp guage that i could wire (using the existing wires from the original temp sensor) that would work and not affect my engine running conditions.
