93 Chevy K1500 Blazer in Limp Mode
After jump starting my 1993 Chevy K1500 Blazer the check engine light came on. I also noticed shifts hard when moved into gear and it seems I lost gear 1 and 4. I believe the transmission is in LIMP Mode. Wondering if I inadvertently touched cables when jumping. Original Engine 5.7 V8 and I see code M30 on the inside glove box cover so I believe that means it has the 4L60E transmission. I have looked at the TRANS fuse on the interior drivers side and it looks ok but haven't tested it yet. My question: is there another transmission fuse underneath the hood that I can check/replace to diagnose this problem? If so, where? I can't seem to find it. What would be the best way for me to diagnose this problem before having to take it into an automotive repair shop? Appreciate your time in responding! Thanks, Brenton
