hello: I have 1996 Chevy s10 truck, and wanted to replace the passenger side manual mirror, so I took out the panel and got to the mirror screws, they are not metric or standards or anything like that, all I see 3 Torx looking screws are sticking out, what can i do? What kind of ratchet socket do I need to replace the mirror?
Thank you in advance![Wink](https://chevroletforum.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)

There is a nut. The torx looking thing you are seeing is just the stud. If I remember correctly, its a 10mm socket.

ya it should be 10 mm, they are on the inside right behind the door pannel? because on the 1st gen the screws were on the outside and they were torqs 25 or 20s if you can get a pic
