Default 99 blazer gauge problem PLEASE help!

Ok so I have a 99 4dr 2wd s10 blazer. One day I decided to fix the "southern engineered" wiring job someone else had done installing a CD player and when I was done all worked fine with the stereo so went inside for the night. next morning I leave for work and the batt light is on, low fuel light on, fuel gauge on E, temp gauge doesn't work, and gear indicator only works with key on engine off. I've looked EVERYTHING over a hundred times, checked every ground and connection I can find and even pulled cluster. if u have key on while u plug cluster in, the fuel and temp gauges jump but go straight back down. Any help would be greatly appreciated

have you looked into your fuse boxes to see if something in there was grounded out??

Check all the fuses first, a fuse may have blown while you were working. If that doesn't fix it then it has to be something you did while wiring the stereo. You will have to retrace your steps and look for something hooked up wrong or left disconnected.

I've looked at all fuses in dash and under hood, checked every wire and ground I can find and have found nothing
