'04 s10 4dr LS 4x4.
First problem is the driver side door will not lock with the power lock. The power lock, locks all other doors. I have to lock the driver side door with the key. Was working properly the other day until I dropped my daughter @school and both I and the passenger hit the power lock @ the same time. I'm figuring one of us hit open, the other hit lock. How can I fix the problem without having to take it in to a shop.

Second problem is the dang alarm keeps going off @ random times!! I bought the car used 4yrs ago and had no problems with the alarm going off randomly. It didn't come with the transmitter and I don't want to disalarm the alarm because of the neighborhood I live in. Is it possible for me to buy another transmitter and program it myself @home or would I need to take it into the shop and have them do it or just replace the entire alarm?
