Help needed! Could someone point out where the PCV valve is?
I was just wondering exactly where the PCV valve is located on my blazer... if someone could help that would be great! Thanks in advance

On my '89, it was on the passenger side, went from the valve cover into the throttle body. May not be the same on the Vortec engines. Your intake threw me off for a minute.

Hi auburn05,
Welcome to the Chevy Forums.
This is a "Blazer" specific question, so it's being relocated to the "Blazer" section. Hopefully one of our members can help you there.
(passenger valve cover, rear, look under @1/2" rubber hose)(maybe)

Follow the hose that attaches to the back of the intake boot on top of the throttle body. Unless it has been re-routed, it should go right to the PCV valve.

Well not sure on the blazers but on my S-10 it is on the passenger side valve cover as well. Basically where the oil cap is you look on the big cover that says “Vortec” there should be a hose running into it coming from the throttle body which is under the breather and if you pull that hose off you should see the PCV valve.
Sorry not trying to put it in laemans terms just not sure how much some people know, I know I don’t know much about vehicles and when people start naming stuff off I get lost.
You will be looking on the passenger side like I said between the alternator and oil fill cap. The PCV is fairly hidden because it is partly inside the valve cover and has a rubber boot on top of it.
