Installing an AMP w/ existing fuse block

Hello all,
This is my first post, so here goes...<O:p</O:p
I have a 02 S-10 and I want to install an aftermarket amplifier. It’s a small amp that only requires a 20AMP fuse. I noticed (on the door jam fuse block) there’s an unused fuse socket labeled “AMPF 25A” however, on close inspection there appears to be a metal “pin” on one side of the fuse socket, the other is left blank. (my truck didnt come with an amplifier) If I wanted to tap into this fuse socket for my amplifier what would I have to do? Is it possible to install a pin in the fuse block and run a wire?
<O:p</O:p
What are your thoughts? thanks for tanking the time to read/post!

:o Ok, using the stock fuse block may not be the best idea...
I’m installing a Boss CX250 amplifier (20A) and a Cobra CPI480 400Watt PWR Inverter (approx. 40A) I’m considering running a 6 gauge cable just under 10’ to my cab, then branch off some 8 gauge feeders to the amp (about 9’) and the inverter (about 5’). Will my amp pickup any interference from the inverter? And how could I wire up my Inverter to only run when the “ignition is hot”?
Thanks

Buy an inline fuse wire, 20 amp. fuse & clamp an "o" clamp on the end hook it directly to the (pos) battery via the antenna hole on the firewall.
