intake and exhaust
hey guys.
i drive a 93 s10 blazer with 49k miles.
my plan is to throw on an intake and hhopefully a dual tip flowmaster exhaust.
ive done lots of interior things to it such as neon cathodes and a custom stereo system.
i was hoping to get some suggestions on a decent intake and a nice, loud, deep exhaust.
although i am only 17 and have limited funds. so help me out guys!
~thanx~

RE: intake and exhaust
I don't know if I can recieve help in this same topic as well, just so I don't have to create and entirely new one....anyways, I own a 2004 silverado reg cab. 4.3L short bed. I was wondering what type of muffler or exhaust I can get as to make a nice rumbling sound...nothing too loud, but loud enough to be heard, and silent enough to not be annoying. I am 16 and have limits as well, does anybody have any tips as to what I can get?

RE: intake and exhaust
lucky for you guys, I was on that same boat.. I have a 97 chevy silverado with a 5.7 vortec. first I found a nice cheap cold-air intake on ebay for 30 bucks, then I bought some muffler eliminators from a corvette catalog which run for about 150. Ive seen cheaper M-E's on ebay since both of your funds are limited. after I installed the intake, I went to a local exhaust shop and had them split my exhaust from the cat all the way back, and intall my M-E'swhich was about 200.
I'll post picks of my exhaust for you guys 2night.
