Default problums with fuel injectors

im not getting fuel to the #4 cyl, is this commen and is it difficult to fix?
i have the vortet 4.3 in my 2000 blazer and whats up with the plastic mounts for the cap and roter.

the injector problem is very common. there is a conversion kit for the vortec motors, i just did it on my 98 tahoe v8. it takes the original, problem prone, poppet style injectors and converts them to actual multi point direct injection. doesn't really cost a whole lot, the investment is more than worth it. had mine done in about 3 hours or so. the novice, give it a day or two. the other thing you can try is SEAFOAM fuel system cleaner. get it at gm parts dept, alot of auto parts stores. stuff is awesome!
