It was kept well and garaged, two of the same family members owned it.

I paid $ 1500 for it and after 18 years, it was time to start replacing all the
worn out factory parts and that was and is my plan to restore it back best I can.

Hi,
I'm really new to all this- I was wondering if there's a:confused:n efficient method for rust removal, what products to use, what sequence to do things, Basically everything!

What kind of rust … is it surface rust (stone dings, discolored paint, etc.) or is it cancer to include holes, blisters and weak metal? Surface rust will require some sanding, primer and paint. Cancer is best handled at a body shop for large money.
