workaround for spare tire hoist carrier

I just bought my used 2003 S10 ZR5 crew cab pickup and it is missing the hole spare tire, rim and whatever hardware holds it there. There has got to be a way to mount a spare up there without that hoist, no?

Go to a junk yard and get a used one. Try the u-pick yards as they are much cheaper. You have to lift the tire up somehow.
