Basically I'm making a Denali assault vehicle, LOL
I bought a 2000 Yukon Denali parts truck and just started changing everything out.
I re-did the interior with the chrome handles and leather Denali inserts
Front end swapped, seats are in progress
Hoping to start on paint next week in addition to my wheels and lift kit.
How difficult was the change from the older body to the newer? Would it work with my 94 k1500 to have a 2000 front end? Thats looks really nice cant wait to see a pic after paint good job!!!!
With you having a 94 it should work fine, just keep in mind (someone else can correct me if I'm wrong) the only front end conversions we have available are the Denali's and Escalades from 99-2001 I believe. Those trucks are the only front end changes before the updated front ends in 2002. If you want an easy way to identify them just check the door handles. If it's the right one it will have the flip up handles like ours. Once they switched to pull out plastic handles on the
doors the body changed. I don't believe there are any pickups or suburbans with other types of front ends for our years. The only options really were work truck front end with the single glass headlights, the 88-90 front end with dual glass headlights side by side, my configuration with plastic dual headlights side
by side with plastic turns beneath and then the Escalades and Denali's 2000 denali 1999 Escalade
