Talking Blazer timeslips.

Went to the strip last night and ran the Blazer a few passes. Here's my two best slips.
I'm #44, #24 was a Integra. Not sure what he had for power adders, but he had something.

It was a ricer for sure. It was gutted, loud, missing the front bumper, and had a big tach on the dash with a shift light. It sounded like it might have had some kind of induction... but as typical cheap rice, it fails to perform.

I ran a 10.99 against a late model Nissan Maxima or Altima (not sure which). My worst run. He ran a 12.3. The next run I did 10.80 and he did 11.71. The ink on those timeslips is so light, I couldn't capture it with my camera.

Good job Brent, work on that reaction time and you could pick up another 1/4 second.

I don't have a quarter mile time... its a 1/8th mile dragstrip at Dunn Benson.

I'm gonna try to anticipate the light a little better. Now its time to go outside and get the rubber out of the fenders. Its no-burnout, but the rubber bits from 8 second cars still get thrown by the tires. I have rubber on my front doors, quarter panels... ick! Its all sticky with cherry syrup too.
