Default frame off 1960 El Camino

Hey guys, first post so thanks much for having me. Hoping someone can lend a hand. I just bought a truck that was recently restored out of Oregon that came with a really nice, full bolt on 350 small block.

My goal for the truck is to get 500-550hp to the wheels, whether keeping this small block or if absolutely necessary, swapping out to a big block. My question is, can this existing small block make a reliable 500+ hp through forced induction/supercharging or other means?

This is my 3rd ElCo but I haven't had a Chevy powerplant for about 20 years. So I'm unfamiliar with what's possible nowadays with the 350 sb. The motor is basically brand new so I hate to do a swap on it.

Thanks in advance, here's a few pics of the truck.

Brian
