Default How to cam swap

Hello this is my first time on this site and I'm currently new to this whole idea of swapping cams, I've done some research and I would like to perform a cam swap, I have a 2001 chevy Silverado 1500 with a 4.3L V6, throttle body if that helps any. I have lots of questions regarding how to do one correctly and what all needs done in order to make this a smooth install after I'm done. My main goal is to give it a more choppy "aggressive" sound to it, I'm not sure which cam to go with or what else I need to do or buy with it or any steps that need to be done in order to make this happen. Thank you for helping out!

Hit a cam website, see how aggressive you can go,my thought is a small step up from stock will cause less headaches, the 4.3 is in alot of boats,so in those they use a r.v.cam or boat cam, same thing, low end torque

if you have lots of questions: don't. fear tells you something. it tells you when you learn more you'll be ready for it.
