Default Buying within the next year!

Starting to see some rust on my 2011. Looking at upgrading in the next year but very concerned about rust out!! High Country or Ram Larmie Longhorn are my front runners. Has GM done anything to slow down the rot!!!!!! Hate the thought of shelling out big$$$$$
just to watch it crumble away a year after it's paid for.

Any thoughts??????

Light undercoat? You live where they still use salt in winter?

This may be controversial but after years of ragging on Ford trucks, Chevrolet has chosen to use aluminum on the 19’s so that may solve some problems. I’m northern Illinois going from a 2017 F350 to a 2019 High Country. https://www.repairerdrivennews.com/2...trength-steel/

What I figured, I dont know why with the environmental salt is not outlawed, Chewed up my first Chevy real good. I am not there anymore its not an issue..There are lots of anti-rust sprays abut you need to use a mask/respirator to apply them.
