Do all 2008 Silverado models have headlights that turn on automatically at night? What triggers it - a dusk sensor?

The automatic headlights are standard in the 2008 Silverados. They are are triggered When it is dark enough outside. The automatic headlamp system will turn on the headlamps at the normal brightness, along with the taillamps, sidemarker, parking
lamps, and the instrument panel lights. The radio lights will also be dim. I hope that this helps.

07 and up silverado's have auto headlamps yes, but they also serve the purpose as the DRL lights as well. Just at night all the other lights stated above turn on and the "headlamps" get brighter
