I have an 02 Silverado k1500 with noise coming from front end. Noise occurs when when I hit a bump or dip in the road, and also when steering wheel is turned both in drive and reverse. Sounds like something is hitting right under floor board of drivers side. I put the truck on jacks and checked it out but couldn't see anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest checking your universal joint up front. Also check your bushings.

Thanks. I found the problem to be both my lower ball joint bushings are blown. Drove truck from Alaska to states, long rough road. Won't hold grease, and are split open on the backside where it is hard to see but you can feel them. Does anyone know if they make polyeurethane kits for a 2002 K1500. I have been looking, but only finding kits for older model chevy's.

Try GMParts.com , I think that is the website. If not do a search for genuine GM Parts.. You will find several great links...
