They're recommended to change at 100,000 if they're still stock. If you feel the need to change em, go for it. Stick with AC delco iridium or NGK TR55

Ngk don't really work that great on GM IMO.
I use champion. AC delco's are also a good way to go

Unless you are replacing your entire ignition system with a high-end brand, there is no need to use anything other then the AC Delco...
If you think that you can get more performance out another brand of plug, keep in mind the same spark plug that is used in your truck is the same one use in the Corvette...

I would stick to the 100k plan unless you are seeing obvious signs of fouling to the plugs...
If you are seeing drive-ability issues you might try an injector cleaner added to the tank a few times first...

my .02 cents

I changed my factory plugs at 102,000 with the same A/C plug that was in there from the factory. The old ones looked almost as good as the new ones did. Why change when something is that good?

NGK tr55s work great on gm. Cheaper alternative to the AC delco and last almost as long

I had to check on it

Per AC Delco's site the plug needed is :AC/Delco P.N. 41-110 Professional Iridium Spark Plug

Per NKG site the plug needed is :NGK (7397) TR5IX Iridium IX Spark Plug

On Amazon:
AC plug is $4.93 each
NKG plug is $7.40 each

I couldn't find the listing for the "S" country_09 do you know what the "S" is for? (standard maybe?)

It does seem that the NKG is a pretty popular replacement for the AC Delco...

Lol the s is there as like a plural thing. The real name is a NGK TR55 but you need multiples of them lol. But yes they're a very popular replacement plug for chevys
