Default Tire Jack

Sorry for the dumb question BUT I got a used 2011- 1500 extended cab and cant find the tire jack. I found the tire iron and rods and black bag bolted under the rear passenger seat ( driver side) but no jack. Is it in some odd place? I looked around but im thinking somone snagged it before they sold the truck.

Pwgsx Welcome to the forum
Glad you found it, might want to make sure you are familiar with how the spare tire comes down as well...

At least this is how it is on my 07 Tahoe..

Remove the cover and you should find a key lock that has to be removed before you can access the lowering port for the jack extension rod...
The rod has to go in backwards in relation to how it is used on the jack...its not intuitive.
Hence the learn how it comes down before you find yourself on the side of the road, in the rain at 2am, on a road with no shoulder, stopped next to a sign that says prison next 1000 feet "Do Not pick up hitchhikers" and you can hear a faint siren wailing in the distance...
