"88" 350 runs fine cold but bucks, stalls, and backfire through the TBI
I have a 1988 chevy 2wd pickup with a 350. It ran fine until last week. Aftter warming up it started bucking hard like it was running out of gas. Then it would backfire through the TBI. When at a dead stop it has to be feathered very lightly to get it moving or it will buck and pop. Then on the way home it started stalling at stop signs. In the last week I have changed the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, o2 sensor, fuel filter, fuel, cleaned the EGR. All of this, and nothing changed. Any suggestions??? Thank you!
Thanks for the idea, but it checked out to be good. I found that my problem was the EGR valve leaking. Even after I cleaned it there was still a leak. I put in a new EGR and it runs like a new one. Thanks again
