Default 02 2500HD 6.0L, Whats the best upgrades?

I'm sure this has been asked here many times.. But i'm new here so please bear with me. I just bought a 2002 Silvarado 2500HD crew cab 4x4w/6.0L & 4:10 gears

What are the best mods to make to get the most performance. I'mleaning towardsthe Superchip Max Micro Tuner and a K&N air filter kit. Do you guys recommend a different programer? I know there are Hypertech, Crane, Granatellie, and some other.. Andthen there is the K&N vs the Airraid air in take system.. What else??? What more do you suggest for the most performance for themoney??? Headers? Duel exhaust system?

Thanks for any and all your advice..

I've got a 2005 Silverado 2500HD Quad cab 4x4... I did put a cold air box on it and saw my mileage go from 9 mpg to 11.5 mpg...

Programmers aren't worth the hype or price. Contact blackbearperformance.com or gowheatley.com. They'll hook you up with a custom tune that's specifically for you, not an in box tune. And intakes do the same, basically the box flows more than enough, it's the tube itself that flows like crap. Get a drop in filter and a airaid MIT tube and it's like havin a air intake. Headers are a great addition as well, but I recommend keepin it a single 3" exhaust, or if you keep it duals then doin an x-pipe to balance it out

I agree, I use the Diablosport programmer, little,

if any difference.

IF you do a lot of mileage, a change to a lower gear ratio

will help. Go to at least 3.42. Cost2000$ OTD.

Boosted my mileage 3MPG HWY.

I use the K&N cold air intake, it's great. Well worth the money, IMO.
