Anyone else getting some squeeky brakes on their NBS silverados? It is usually the worst when creeping pulling in and out of my garage for instance. Sounds terrible.

i have an 06 and had some noise coming from my fronts when i hit the brakes lightly. my dealer said it was too much metal in the brake pads when they were manufactured. they replaced it under warrenty and turned my rotors. just had the front rotors turned again because of a slight brakepedal pulsing when slowing down. again under warrenty.

I'd be very leary about having a dealer turn the rotors twice for a problem with the rotors. What will happen is when that truck runs out of warranty and you go to get a brake job out of your own pocket, they are going to tell you theres not enough left to turn and you'll be staring at new rotors. Not only that, everytime you turn them, they get thinner and overheat easier. One turn is one thing. A second turn.....I'd be yelling for NEW ROTORS if it was me. Just my humble opinion.

Mine squeak a little first thing at light pressure. Stop though after a few stops. I have also found that that little **** fixes the whistle noise from my bug shield at 60 mph too.
