#1 cylinder misfire
Hello,
My mom's 1998 sierra started smoking (blue), hesitating, hard to start. I ended up getting a #1 misfire with a code reader. so she took it to a shop and they told her it was a blown head gasket, told her it would be about $2000 to fix so I decided to replace them for her. I went and pulled the heads yesterday afternoon and the top of every piston was clean except for that cylinder. While all the valves looked good except that cylinder also it had more carbon build up on them. Does this seem like something a head gasket would fix or are there other issues? I've attached a picture (don't know why I dident snap one of the head)
Thanks!
