14 silverado A/c and radio HELP!
Ok bought a 14 silverado in June. It's a WT2 package. Base model with sat radio. In any case. When starting the truck. The climate control settings quickly show up on the radio display. Is this normal? Also sometimes the radio display will show the home screen without touching any buttons. Finally. After not running the blower motor and shutting the truck off for about an hour or longer. I'll get in the truck and turn the blower on and it'll be in A/C MODE. It's getting chilly around here so I haven't been needing the air conditioner. Is any of this normal? I've only had one other problem with the climate control, it wouldn't turn on at all for about a minute or so, on a really hot day and the truck was not run at all the previous day. Again. Is any of this normal
Thanks

Hi medic220,
Is your climate control set to automatic operation or recirculation? This may cause cooler air to flow throughout the vehicle. Also, there is an exterior temperature sensor behind the front grille. The system may also supply cooler air to the side of the vehicle facing the sun. The recirculation mode will also be used as needed to maintain cool outlet temperatures. If this continues to be a concern we definitely suggest having your dealership take a look at this for you. Feel free to private message us if you have any additional questions.
