1994 Chevy blows only heat...need cold too.

I bought a 1994 Chevy Cheyenne that has been sitting for 8 months. They cranked it once a week, but didn't move it or work any of the accessories.
The problem is that only heat is blowing regardless of whether I have it on AC or not.
I can go through the defrost to floor sectors and the air flow moves as expected. I can go from low to max and each level increases as expected.
If I turn the unit off, I can still feel hot air if I push my hand against the vent even though it's not technically blowing.
My friend said it was the blend door. I have no idea what that is or how to get to it. Does anyone know where that is located and what I need to check to see if it is working?
Thanks,
P
