There ain't a vacuum leak. We hada mechanic Check it an he said so also... It only does it in drive. If u put it in reverse an give it gas it runs fine

The vacuum gauge has nothing to do with checking for your vacuum LEAK, it is to diagnose your problem.
You obviously did not read the LINK I posted for you.
So, hook a vacuum gauge, read the link and see which scenario best describes your reading.

im not sure but im guessing there wasnt nothing wrong cause my dad didnt say anything or say anything was unusual with it... were ganna take it to a different machanic next week and hook it up to his computer

Maybe its the fuel pump just a thought a guy could really be suprised at what problems a shifty fuel pump can make for . just a suggestion if you havent all ready get a psi reading from the fuel line then clamp the return line off and do it again with the return line clamped if it doesnt change its probably a fuel pump problem
