I recently purchased a 1994 Z71 with a cracked engine, with the intent of fixing it. I have some knowledge working on cars but this is going to be my first Chevy I have worked on. Which is why I am here.
That being said, I knew the person I bought the car from and everything was working fine until the engine died. Honestly he wasn't taking care of the truck. I'm already planning on getting a new engine and possibly a new/rebuilt transmission later on. I have most of the tools for this job and I've only swapped out a few engine but those engines were newer and when I did the engine swap it was the same model/year engines. This truck I don't know if ill be able to do a same year/model swap like I have done before. At the moment, I haven't found an engine. So, if there are any tips you can give me about this truck or the engine that would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
