Default 2000 Silverado, Brake and Engine code Q&A

Gentlemen,
I have a 2000 Silverado 4.8, 4 wheel drive...

3 Issues:

1: Lots of noise from AC Compressor Pulley/Clutch.
I have ordered the clutch bearing and the remove/replace tool kit to pull the pulley. I think I have this one under control.

2: Last week I was driving and noticed that the truck was pulling semi-hard to the left <--. When I would apply the brakes it would pull hard to the right -->.?? I pulled of the road and the front left wheel and brakes were hot. After they cooled down, couple hours, this issue has not happened since??

Last fall I replaced the pads and rotors all the way around, 115k miles. This was the first time I needed to do this and a similar issue was happening in the rear. After much investigation the rear left caliper would not stay open once the brakes were released. It would close on the rotor but would not release. After replacing the calipers the problem has never happened again. I did not replace the calipers in the front but that is what Im thinking of doing in this case as well.

THOUGHTS?

3: Yesterday Service Engine Light came on. I read the codes and have PO172 and PO175. Where should I start with this issue??? I noted issue 1 above because I currently have the AC compressor belt off until I get everything I need to fix that. I dont think issue 1 and 3 are related but it doesnt hurt to call this out.

THOUGHTS??

THANKS!!

You can look up the codes on the internet. I checked and didn't find a p0175.
